Dr. Robert Lawrence Kuhn

Dr. Robert Lawrence Kuhn is a public intellectual, international corporate strategist, investment banker, and a renowned expert on China. He is a commentator on the BBC, CNN, CCTV, Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox Business, and other mainstream media; a senior political/economics commentator on China Global Television Network (CGTN); and a columnist in China Daily and South China Morning Post. Dr. Kuhn is the creator, co-producer and host of “Closer to China with R.L.Kuhn” on China Global Television Network (CGTN). He spoke at the launch ceremony of President Xi Jinping’s book, The Governance of China, and he provided live commentary on CNN for Xi’s policy address during his U.S. state visit in 2015. During the 19th CPC National Congress (October 2017), Dr. Kuhn was also interviewed extensively, and his full-page, in-depth analysis of the 19th CPC National Congress were quoted extensively in newspapers and websites in many countries.

Dr. Kuhn is also a senior advisor to CitiGroup, and the Chairman of Kuhn Global Capital. Kuhn Global Capital invested in media, recreation, technology sectors in China and United States.

Dr. Kuhn is chairman of The Kuhn Foundation which supports new knowledge in science and philosophy, classical music, and promotes an informed relationship between the United States and China.

Dr. Kuhn has a Ph.D. in Anatomy/Brain Research from UCLA, MBA from MIT, and B.A in Human Biology from Johns Hopkins.

 

 

 

Mr. Michael Dolan

Mr. Dolan is a global leader in consumer products, sports, and media & entertainment. He is currently the CEO and Director of Bacardi Limited, the world's largest private liquor company. He served as Chairman and CEO of IMG Worldwide, which is a global leader in sports, fashion and entertainment. Mr. Dolan joined IMG as an Executive Vice President and CFO in early 2010 and was the designer of the company's global strategic development and execution. He led IMG to expand into the rapid growth markets including China, India and Brazil. In 2014, he successfully sold IMG to a consortium comprised of WME and Silver Lake Partners. Before joining IMG, Mr. Dolan was the Executive Vice President and CFO of the US media mogul Viacom Inc., where he completed the split of Viacom and CBS Corp.(the former is composed by MTV, several cable networks and Paramount Pictures),and facilitated the two separate companies’ successful IPO in 2009.

Mr. Dolan started his career at Morgan Guaranty Trust Co., in Wall Street, New York, and later became a partner at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, one of the world's largest management consulting firms.

Mr. Dolan has a Ph.D. from Cornell University and MBA from Columbia University. He graduated with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Fordham University.

 

Mr. ZHENG Xinmiao

Mr. ZHENG Xinmiao is one of the most influential contemporary scholars in China, the former Vice Minister of Culture of China, head of culture department of the CPC central policy research office- the leading think-tank to China’s decision-making body, president of Chinese Poetry Society, president of China's Forbidden City Association, the Ph. D. supervisor of Chinese National Academy of Arts, Zhejiang University’s Distinguished Professor of “Gugongnology” research center.

Mr.zheng has published 14 books, and more than 200 papers and essays on various perspectives of China’s culture, religion, arts and history.

 

Mr. LIU Erh- Fei

Mr. LIU Erh- Fei is a well-known investment banker, and co-founder and CEO of the AIIB’s private equity fund. Prior to launching AIIB’s fund, Mr. Liu founded with Cinda Group Cindat Capital Management Company, a global investment platform. Cindat Capital invested nearly two billion U.S. dollars in major cities globally and achieved excellent returns under his leadership.

As the first mainland Chinese that worked in Wall Street after the China’s reform and opening-up in 1984, Mr. Liu was once named one of the 50 Most Valuable Investment Bankers in the World by Global Finance Magazine. Mr. Liu had led the Asia/China team for many global financial institutions including Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Smith Barney and Banque Indosuez, during which time he made major impact on the reorganization, listing, mergers and acquisitions of dozens of large Chinese state-owned and private enterprises with an aggregate value of nearly 100 billion U.S. dollars. He also led private equity investments of total value of nearly 10 billion US dollars globally.

Mr. Liu has a MBA from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Economics and International Relations from Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
